The event started with a warm welcome by Ms. Zuo (CKMS) who provided an overview of the United Nations and ESCAP's mission towards sustainable development goals. Following this, Ms. Zanetti and Mr. Mortelliti from the Asia-Pacific Forum on Sustainable Development team presented an insightful outlook on SDGs in Asia and the Pacific.

Moreover, Ms. Chen, the Associate Economic Affairs Officer from the Environment and Development Division (EDD), briefed our students on the critical relationship between environment and development. Our students were able to learn about the ongoing efforts made by the UN and ESCAP in addressing environmental challenges and fostering sustainable development.

To top it off, our students were able to visit the ESCAP assembly hall, which was a great experience for them. They got to witness first-hand the workings of a major international organization that aims to make a positive impact on the world.

Overall, it was an enriching and informative trip, and we would like to thank the UN and ESCAP for giving our students this incredible opportunity. We are confident that this trip has sparked interest in global issues and inspired our students to work towards a sustainable future.
