Bangkok Community Help has a rich history of making a positive impact in our local community. Established in 2020, the organization has been actively engaged in various initiatives aimed at providing assistance and support to vulnerable individuals who are in need of food, shelter, and education. Their unwavering commitment to improving the lives of the less fortunate has earned them widespread recognition and respect.

Over the years, Bangkok Community Help has successfully implemented several programmes, including food drives, weekly classes, improving housing, meal services, and community outreach efforts. Their initiatives have not only helped alleviate hunger but also fostered a sense of belonging and care among those who often feel marginalized. By joining forces with this esteemed organization, RBIS International School aims to instill in our students the values of compassion, empathy, and social responsibility.

In line with this collaboration, we have organized specific community days for Y.6 to 11 for next school year, ensuring that they have the opportunity to actively contribute to this noble cause.

During their respective community days, students will be actively involved in meal preparation and distribution activities under  the guidance of their form tutor and staff from Bangkok Community Help. This hands-on experience will enable our students to develop a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by the elderly and homeless individuals in our community and make a tangible difference in their lives. We would like to emphasize that our Year 12 and 13 students will continue to focus on the existing RBIS community service programme that has been successfully implemented in our school many years ago. This programme allows our older students to engage in various community service initiatives, including renovating rural schools, participating in fundraising events, and collaborating with nonprofit organizations ex: PAWS, Precious Plastic Bangkok, Cirplas, etc. This ensures a well-rounded approach to community service, catering to the

diverse needs and interests of our students.

We believe that these meaningful activities will not only benefit the recipients but also foster personal growth and empathy in our students. By actively engaging in acts of kindness and compassion, they will gain valuable life skills, broaden their perspectives, and develop a stronger sense of social responsibility.
