                                    STAFF CODE OF CONDUCT



                          This policy applies to the whole school



               including the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

        For purposes of this document, the term “Board of Management” is deemed to have the same
        meaning as “Proprietor” in accordance with the ISSR and is used interchangeably.

        Legal Status:
        •  This policy complies with Regulation 3 paragraphs 7(a) and (b) and 8 (a) and (b) of The Education
           (Independent  School  Standards)  (England)  (Amendment)  Regulations,  the  National  Minimum
           Standards for Boarding Schools,  the statutory framework for Early Years provision and other relevant
           and current regulations, and any other guidance concerning safeguarding children to which Schools
           are obliged to have regard.

        •  This document has regard to Keeping Children Safe in Education Statutory guidance for schools and
           colleges (KCSIE) (DfE: 2018) and Working Together to Safeguard Children (WT) (HM Government,
           2015).
        •  The Children Act 1989 and 2004 along with Section 157/175, Education Act (2002)
        •  Contract  of  Employment,  Teachers’  Standards  (Guidance  for  school  leaders,  School  staff  and
        governing bodies)

        Legal Status: Under United Kingdom law
        •  Whilst UK Government regulatory requirements are given for reference as to the British international
            nature of RBIS, at all time the law and regulatory requirements of the Kingdom of Thailand will hold
            legal precedence.

        Applies to:

        •  the whole School, out of School care and all other activities provided by the School, inclusive of those
           outside of the normal School hours;
        •  all staff (teaching and support staff), the Board of Directors and volunteers working in the School.
