         COMPLAINTS PROCEDURE FOR PARENTS OF STUDENTS

                          This policy applies to the whole school


               including the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).


        For purposes of this document, the term “Board of Management” is deemed to have the same meaning
        as “Proprietor” in accordance with the UK ISSR, and is used interchangeably.

        Availability:
        This procedure, which is part of the school’s admission pack, is made available to parents prior to their
        child being admitted to the school. This procedure is publicly available on the school’s website. A copy
        (which can be made available in large print or other accessible format if required) may be obtained
        from the School Office upon request.

        Legal Status:
            •  This policy incorporates the manner in which complaints are to be managed in accordance with
               Part 7, paragraph 33 (a) to  (k) inclusive, along with the provision of information being made
               available  in  Part  6  Paragraph  32  (3)  (f)  of  The  Education  (Independent  School  Standards)
               (England) Regulations currently in force.

        Legal Status: Under United Kingdom law
            •  Whilst  UK  Government  regulatory  requirements  are  given  for  reference  as  to  the  British
               international nature of RBIS, at all time the law and regulatory requirements of the Kingdom of
               Thailand will hold legal precedence.
        Applies to:

            •  The parents of current students at RBIS Bangkok
            •  The parents of past students of RBIS Bangkok if a complaint was raised when the student was
               still registered, but does not cover exclusions.

        Timescale
        The process of dealing with a complaint in writing from the moment that it is received by the school to
        resolution will take no more than twenty-eight (28) working days, except in circumstances in which the
        normal  timescales  are  affected  by  issues  that  delay  resolution;  namely  school  holidays  and  other
        factors.

        Monitoring and Review: This policy is subject to continuous monitoring, refinement and audit by the
        RBIS Bangkok Board of Management, which will also undertake a full annual review of this policy and
        procedures, inclusive of its implementation and the efficiency with which the related duties have been
        discharged.  This  review  will  be  formally  documented  in  writing.  Any  deficiencies  or  weaknesses
        recognized in arrangements or procedures will be remedied immediately and without delay. All staff will
