Acceptance Procedure
If successful, parents will receive a conditional offer of a place for their child and will be asked to
complete an acceptance form and pay the acceptance deposit of £200.
The School reserves the right not to offer places to those it considers would not benefit from the
School’s education, would not cope with the academic curriculum, or who may have a detrimental effect
on other pupils.
Information
Parents or guardians will also be asked to provide the school with any information which they feel will
enable us to take that best possible care of their children. We require:
• confirmation of the date of birth of a child.
• Name, home address and date of birth of each child
• Starting date
• Name, address, telephone numbers and emails of parents or guardians
• Emergency telephone numbers of parents or guardians
• Special Diets
• Arrangements for collection for younger children or those with special needs that makes
collection by an adult essential
• Name, address and telephone number of the child’s doctor
• Illness details
• Details of any allergies
• Parental consent on emergency procedures
• Where applicable the present School reports satisfactory attitudes on the part of both pupil and
parents.
Equal Treatment
Our aim is to encourage applications from pupils with as diverse a range of backgrounds as possible.
This enriches our community and is vital in preparing our pupil’s for today’s world. With a diverse school
intake the means of establishing potential will vary according to the candidate’s age and educational
background.
RBIS Bangkok is committed to equal treatment for all, regardless of a candidate’s race, ethnicity, sexual

Learning Support
We do not discriminate in any way regarding entry. We welcome pupils who require learning support,
providing the specific needs of the child can be managed within the school’s normal provision. We
welcome pupils with physical disabilities provided that our site can cope with them. However, we advise
parents of children with special educational needs or physical disabilities to discuss their child’s
requirements with us in advance so that adequate provision can be made prior to visits, interviews and
any necessary entrance exam or assessment. Parents should provide a copy of an Educational
Psychologist’s report or a medical report to support their request, for example for extra time or other
special arrangements.
We will discuss thoroughly with parents and their medical advisers the adjustments that can reasonably
be made for the child if he/she becomes a pupil at the school.
Special Educational Needs
Where a child who has documentation of Special Educational Needs joins our school, we will always
consult with parents/guardians and, where appropriate, the local medical authorities to ensure that the
