RASAMI BRITISH INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL, BANGKOK
ADMISSIONS POLICY
This policy, which applies to the whole school inclusive of the Early Years Foundation Stage, is in
support of the health and safety policy and the individual health and safety assessments. This policy
is publically available on the school’s website. On request a copy may be obtained from the school’s
office.
Legal Status: Under United Kingdom Law
• Complies with Part 6, Paragraph 32 (3) (a) of The Education (Independent School Standards)

• Part 3 of the Children and Families Act 2014 and the SEN Disability Code of Practice, 0-25 years
2015 (SEND Code 2015)
Legal Status: Under Thai Kingdom Law
• Whilst UK Government regulatory requirements are given for reference as to the British
international nature of education at RBIS, at all time the law and regulatory requirements of the
Kingdom of Thailand will hold legal precedence.
Applies to:
• the whole school inclusive of activities outside of the normal school hours;
• all staff (teaching and support staff), the Board of Management and volunteers working in the
school.

Availability:
This policy is made available to parents, guardians, staff and pupils from the school office and website
Monitoring and Review:
• This policy will be subject to continuous monitoring, refinement and audit by the Headmaster.
• The Senior Leadership Team undertakes an annual review of this policy and of the efficiency with
which the related duties have been discharged, by no later than one year from the date shown
below, or earlier if changes in legislation, regulatory requirements or best practice guidelines so
require.
