          STUDENTS MISSING EDUCATION / MISSING STUDENTS



                 This Policy applies to the whole school including

                        the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).



             It is publically available on the School website and on

           request a copy may be obtained from the School Office.



        This policy, which applies to the whole school, is publicly available on the school website and on request;
        a copy may be obtained from the school. All who work, volunteer or supply services to our school have
        an equal responsibility to understand and implement this policy and its procedures both within and
        outside of normal school hours including activities away from school.

        This policy should be read and understood in conjunction with our Safeguarding – Child Protection,
        Behaviour Management, Whistleblowing Policies, the Staff Code of Conduct and the Lost and Missing

        Children Procedures for each division along with children missing from Boarding. This policy takes full
        account  of  the  child  protection  procedures  agreed  by  our  local  Safeguarding  Children  Board  and
        statutory guidance Working Together to Safeguard Children (2018)

        Applies to all:
            •  activities undertaken by the school inclusive of those outside of the normal school hours and

               away from the school site
            •  who, work, volunteer or supply services to our school - that is all staff (teaching and support staff),
               students on placement, the Board of Management, and volunteers working in the school.

        Legal Status: Under United Kingdom law
            •  Whilst  UK  Government  regulatory  requirements  are  given  for  reference  as  to  the  British
               international nature of RBIS, at all time the law and regulatory requirements of the Kingdom of

               Thailand will hold legal precedence.

        Monitoring and Review: This policy is subject to continuous monitoring, refinement and audit by the
        RBIS Bangkok Board of Management, which will also undertake a full annual review of this policy and
        procedures, inclusive of its implementation and the efficiency with which the related duties have been
        discharged.  This  review  will  be  formally  documented  in  writing.  Any  deficiencies  or  weaknesses
        recognized in arrangements or procedures will be remedied immediately and without delay. All staff will

        be informed of the updated/reviewed policy and it will be made available to them in either hard copy or
        electronic format.
