After the fantastic success of our whole-school bake sale, organised alongside our Secondary Student Council, eight of our Primary Student Council members had the purr-fect opportunity to see the real-world impact of their efforts.

Thanks to the funds raised from all those delicious cakes, cookies, and brownies, we were able to purchase food and essential supplies for the Minburi Cat Shelter, home to over 200 cats.

Our representatives — Unn (Y3), Pawjai (Y3), TJ (Y4), Leo (Y4), Edward (Y5), Guts (Y5), Aryan (Y6), and Avia (Y6) — proudly delivered the donations and enjoyed feeding the cats, learning about how the shelter is run, and, of course, spending some time with a few very friendly felines.

Our Year 10s also spent the morning at the Min Buri Cat Shelter, swapping classroom chatter for cat cuddles and it was purr-fectly heart-warming! Armed with bags of cat food, litter, and plenty of cat treats the students spent the visit feeding, playing with, and learning about the shelter’s many furry residents. It was a brilliant morning filled with laughter, happy faces, and even happier cats.
