One of my favorite science books on the site is, "Animal Scientist and Activist Jane Goodall" by Douglas Hustad. This biography and non-fiction literature discusses one of the world's most well-known female scientists who helped protect endangered animals. The story will surely inspire students to get involved in wildlife conservation. It's also a read-aloud, so it can help improve their listening skills and pronunciation as well."
