It has been a very successful day, the children really enjoyed having fun with us. They were excited to see us and quickly joined in with the activities. We started off with introducing ourselves and then assigning them into groups so it would make it easier to involve all of us. We all saw a side of Micky that we've never seen before, he was surprisingly gentle and the younger children quickly joined in. Alex quickly became the favorite of the children. We then played board games with the children, while some joined the boys in the game of football.
We surveyed the library building, decided on our colour scheme and we would be ready to start our project tomorrow. We also have 3 helpers joining us tomorrow to help us replace the roof.
I graduated from Keele University, UK, with a degree in Biology and Mathematics and then continued on to study towards my PGCE. After graduating I worked at a school in the UK teaching Biology, Chemistry and Physics. This gave me an opportunity to teach a wide range of scientific topics at different levels.
Why you I like to work at RBIS
Since working at RBIS, I have had the opportunity to develop my Physics and Mathematics teaching to students at iGCSE and A-Level. Students at RBIS are so polite and hardworking and they are a pleasure to teach.

" As some of you may know, I am a keen sportsman. As a student at school and university I competed for many teams in Fencing, Badminton, Atheltics and Squash. Fencing however, is my primary sport. I have been fortunate enough to compete for the Great Britain U17, U20, Student and Senior teams at international tournaments around the world. Fencing taught me a lot growing up, it taught me how to win graciously, lose with dignity and most of all, how to work hard towards a goal. Whilst at RBIS, I am excited to be able to help students achieve their goals both inside and outside of school."
